Solder bars

I got a bunch of these kester 63/37 bars on Facebook marketplace and started using them for copper foil work. I do know 63/37 is typically used in stained glass for decorative work but from what I’ve read will be just fine for any stained glass work. I’ve used it without any problems for a few pieces. I’ve gotten a lot of inquiries on my Instagram with people who are curious or concerned. I’m telling them what I’ve found online and my experience using them. But I’ve gotten some push back that i shouldn’t be using them? Probably just because people have never seen them before. My challenge with using them is that they are awkward to hold and heavy, and could break the glass if i drop them while working. And they do slow me down a bit. But, i got them for a great price and i plan to use them up to save money. Is there any real issues with bar solder that i should be aware of? Or with using 63/37?
